A month ago, my family and I returned from our New Year’s vacation down in Australia! It was such a beautiful, warm, and chill place to visit and I got to do the most amazing things including holding a koala, scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef and climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Also, the firework extravaganza on New Year’s Eve in Sydney was hands down the best and biggest firework display I’ve ever seen! Such a fun way to ring in the New Year!!
It was also a very surreal time to be in Australia as half the country was engulfed in flames killing a lot of the wildlife. My family remained safe the whole time we traveled, but I felt very humbled to know that my family was allowed to have fun and experience the country while many others were experiencing great tragedy!
